Rather unsuccessful meeting with a Washington State legislator today in regards to judges not reporting child abuse to Child Protective Services. She indicated many have complained about this already. I am missing the issue here? If many have already complained that child abuse allegations are not being reported to CPS by judges, than why hasn't something already been done? In meeting with every Washington State legislator so far, I fail to get the sense that they care that it is only matter of time before a child being seriously abused did not receive help from CPS they should have received, because some idiot sitting on the bench thought reporting was a waste of their time.
